Leadership of House of Prayer Mukono

At the heart of the House of Prayer Mukono is a dedicated and passionate leadership team committed to serving God and guiding the congregation in faith and unity. Our leaders embody the church’s vision of fostering a prayerful, spiritually enriching environment for all. Below is an overview of our leadership structure and the individuals who play a vital role in the church’s mission

The Senior Pastor is the spiritual shepherd of the House of Prayer Mukono, providing guidance, inspiration, and oversight for the church’s ministries and activities. Their role includes preaching, teaching, and mentoring the congregation in their spiritual journeys. The Senior Pastor leads by example, fostering a community rooted in prayer, love, and service.

Assistant Pastors
Our Assistant Pastors work alongside the Senior Pastor to ensure the smooth operation of the church. They focus on specific ministries, including youth outreach, adult discipleship, and community engagement, while also delivering sermons and offering spiritual counsel to members of the church.

Church Elders
The Elders form a group of wise and seasoned individuals responsible for guiding the church’s vision and decision-making processes. They are deeply committed to upholding the church’s values and supporting its spiritual and administrative needs. The Elders act as a source of encouragement and accountability for the congregation.

Ministry Leaders
House of Prayer Mukono is home to several vibrant ministries, including worship, children’s ministry, outreach programs, and prayer groups. Each ministry is led by a dedicated leader with a passion for service and a commitment to helping others grow in their relationship with God.

Administrative Team

Volunteers

Responsibilities for each role within the leadership team

Senior Pastor

  • Leading the spiritual direction of the church through sermons, teachings, and prayer.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to the congregation and other church leaders.
  • Overseeing all church ministries and ensuring alignment with the church’s mission.
  • Counseling members on their spiritual and personal challenges.
  • Representing the church in the broader community and fostering partnerships with other religious organizations.

Assistant Pastors

  • Supporting the Senior Pastor by delivering sermons and managing ministry activities.
  • Focusing on specific areas such as youth development, discipleship, and outreach programs.
  • Offering spiritual guidance to individuals and groups within the church.
  • Leading prayer meetings and Bible studies to strengthen members’ faith.

Church Elders

  • Providing wisdom and oversight in decision-making for the church.
  • Upholding the church’s core values and ensuring doctrinal integrity.

  • Acting as advisors to the pastoral team on spiritual and administrative matters.
  • Praying for the congregation and the church’s mission regularly.

Ministry Leaders

  • Planning and organizing activities within their respective ministries, such as worship, children’s ministry, or outreach programs.
  • Encouraging and equipping volunteers to serve effectively in their ministry areas.
  • Creating opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship within their ministry.
  • Reporting progress and challenges to the pastoral leadership for support.

Administrative Team

  • Managing church finances, including budgeting, accounting, and fundraising.
  • Coordinating church events and maintaining the calendar of activities.
  • Overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of the church premises.
  • Ensuring smooth communication within the church and with external stakeholders.

Volunteers

  • Assisting in the execution of various church activities and programs.
  • Supporting ministries by teaching, organizing, or serving in events.
